CHILDREN….

Standard

You know, sometimes you just have to step back and look at your kids. And when you do, you have to just give God thanks and gratitude because you know that He done the work. LOL… The boy is beyond words a talented young man. He has taught himself drums, guitar, piano, bass, sound and I don’t know what else. He can pick up anything on music just by listening to it. He lives and breathe music. He walks up to the church (1/2 mile away) and stays for hours, playing music. As soon as we arrive at church, he starts playing. As soon as church is over, he is playing. He is a Gift Giving love language dude. You can tell him all you want you love him, but if you buy him a gift, he knows it. :’) He is mostly reserved and is extremely serious a lot of the times. He would rather be in a small gathering personally, but when he goes into his music mode, he could play in a stadium full of people. Keep to yourself, couple of friends kind of guy.
The oldest daughter loves to read. She loves to write. She loves to draw. She loves to sing. She wants to sing and write Music. She wants to write a book. She wants to be an acclaimed artist. She doesn’t want to do any sports. She wants to eat at expensive restaurants and wear nice clothes. She wants to learn. She doesn’t like to clean. If you send her to her room to clean, it will take her hours, because she is hiding from plain view reading a book. :’) But she LOVES to learn. She is not a big social bunny and still likes to write letters and send them in the mail. She is a “friend” for life girl. She is a Physical Touch love language girl, who loves to “cuddle” and hug. Her favorite is from her Daddy. (In which he gives VERY often so that she will leave the boys alone) Peace maker instead of a trouble maker!

The youngest is the social bunny of the year. She is a leader and sometimes very bossy. She doesn’t like to learn from a book, but will tell you everything if she sees it in a movie, documentary, or in person. She loves babies and had a dream one time she had 100. LOL. She has to stay focused and work in intervals, (ADHD and dyslexia) She loves to clean and cook. She tells her sister she will be her cook and housekeeper when they grow up. :’) She can walk into a room and know everyone within 30 minutes. She is Words of Affirmation kinda of gal who wants to be friends with everyone not just 2 or 3. She is active and always volunteers to do things. Most of the time to get out of school work. She is like me the most and sometimes we butt heads. She makes me see myself a lot.

Before I go, I want to leave you with a poem the oldest daughter wrote.

Feeling down and feeling gloom,
No way to start, no way to bloom.
Falling down in a hurtful way,
Not even faith to go and pray.
The strength you need to be ready,
Carry on, and be steady.
Then one night you stood and cried,
For forgiveness that you lied.
You asked for Jesus in your life & heart,
Now, you’ll never be apart.

A family all in one,
Sharing love and never shun.
Fights and argues, with pain and sorrow,
But there’s a new day tomorrow.
All the sharing and the caring,
All the fun and all the scaring.
God loves you more than ever,
God won’t hate you, never.
Peace with all and remember,
January through December,
Give thanks in all ways.
