We are back from a jam-packed AWESOME weekend. What a great weekend we had. It took us 15.5 hours to get to Va. Beach and 14.5 on the return trip home. All the youth enjoyed themselves immensely. They met new friends, some saw the beach for the very first time in their lives. And was changed spiritually. One young lad stood in the freezing cold water, crying because she was so happy. Her feet were red and numb but she loved it so much, she wouldn’t get out of the cold water. She is super shy, but she came out of her shell this weekend. She met a young man from Buffalo and actually talked to him. (gasp) She volunteered to represent our church in prayer. And she made two new friends. This makes me so happy. Petty and cheesy to some, but to me it is a prayer answered. This is a small country town. And some of these people have never ventured out. They graduate and work at a factory. That is there goal in life. The husband and I want these young people to get out and see there is another world outside here. We want them to expand their horizon. To expand their knowledge. To make something better out of themselves. This young lady got on the phone and told her Mom, she is moving to Va. Beach. :”) And yes, I will encourage her as much as I can. Whether or not she does it, I don’t know. But her Pastors will encourage, pray, push if need to, and talk to her parents to get it moving and going!!

If that young lady ends up coming here, we will enfold her into our group with love.
It was wonderful to see you again.
I met a nice young man, too.
Mmm Mmm Good…God is so good.
